1. Who is responsible
The operator of TidySheet at tidysheet.io handles information described in this policy. Send privacy questions and requests to [email protected].
2. Scope
This policy covers the website, trial registration, licensing, purchases, and support. It does not replace the policies of independent payment or infrastructure providers.
3. Information we handle
Purchase and licensing records include purchase email, license identifiers, selected plan, machine activations, payment status, transaction identifiers, purchaser name, amount paid, billing period, Stripe customer identifier, and the last four digits of the payment card. Trial registration associates a machine identifier with its first registration to enforce the 7-day trial. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, request times, browser information, and requested URLs. Contact forms collect your name, email, and message; correspondence may include purchase details you choose to provide.
4. Local spreadsheet processing
Your CSV and Excel contents are processed on your computer and are not uploaded to the licensing service. This website offers no spreadsheet cloud storage or synchronization. Do not include sensitive file contents in support messages; anything you voluntarily send to support becomes part of that correspondence.
5. Why we use information
We use information to fulfill purchases, issue and verify licenses, enforce trial and machine limits, recover keys, respond to support and refund requests, prevent abuse, and meet accounting and legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, these activities rely on performance of our agreement, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in secure operation and customer support. We seek consent when required for an optional use.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Stripe processes payments; TidySheet does not receive full card numbers through this website. Cloudflare hosts the website and its request functions. Resend delivers contact-form messages to support and sends license-key emails to the purchase email address. It processes the name, email address, message, and license details needed for those purposes. We may disclose relevant information when required by law or to protect legal rights. This website contains no advertising trackers or first-party analytics. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
7. Retention
We retain purchase and licensing records as needed to provide access, recover licenses, handle disputes, and meet legal obligations. Trial registration records support enforcement of the original trial period. Support records are kept as needed to resolve requests and follow-up issues. Retention depends on the purpose and applicable requirements; contact us to request deletion or details for your records. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymized, subject to legal obligations and backup processing.
8. Security
The website uses HTTPS and keeps payment and email-service credentials on the server. Access to purchase and support information is limited to operational needs. No system guarantees absolute security. Protect your license key and avoid sending card details or unrelated sensitive information.
9. International processing
Infrastructure, payment, and email providers may process information outside your country. Applicable protections and provider agreements govern those transfers. Contact support for information about processing of your records.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to processing, and may complain to your local data-protection authority. Email [email protected] to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify identity and protect purchase records. Legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping may limit deletion. There is no account dashboard; requests are handled through support.
11. Children
TidySheet is intended for users who can legally enter the purchase agreement and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without required authorization, contact support so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
12. Cookies and tracking
Checkout sets an essential ts_checkout cookie containing a Stripe session identifier to associate license retrieval with the purchasing browser. It is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, limited to /api/checkout, and expires after 24 hours. Preview access may use browser HTTP authentication. These pages do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe and infrastructure providers may use their own necessary technologies under their policies.
13. Policy changes
We update this policy when practices change and show the revision date on this page. Material changes will be communicated on the website or by email where required. New uses requiring consent will be subject to that consent.
14. Contact
Email [email protected] for privacy requests, key recovery, machine removal, and support. Do not include full payment-card details. Use of the product is also governed by the Terms of Service.
Read the Terms of Service.
