TidySheet1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the TidySheet desktop application, tidysheet.io, downloads, and support. By using TidySheet, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to accept them. Contact the TidySheet operator at [email protected] for questions or legal notices.
2. Product and eligibility
TidySheet processes CSV and Excel files locally on macOS and Windows. You must be legally able to enter an agreement in your location and have permission to process your files. Supported platforms are listed on the Download page.
3. 7-day trial
The free trial lasts 7 days from the computer’s first online registration. Reinstalling on the same computer does not reset the trial. After the trial, an active license is required to continue. Downloading or starting a trial does not itself purchase a subscription.
4. Licenses and activation
An active subscription grants a limited, nonexclusive right to use TidySheet within the purchased machine limit: up to 3 machines for Personal and up to 20 for Enterprise. Activate online using the license key and purchase email. Keep the key private. Do not resell or publicly distribute keys or bypass licensing controls. Uninstalling does not release a machine slot; contact support to request removal of an unused machine.
5. Plans and prices
Prices are in US dollars: Personal Monthly $9.99 per month, Personal Annual $89.99 per year, and Enterprise Annual $299.99 per year. Enterprise has no monthly plan. Applicable taxes and the total charged are shown in checkout. Prices shown at checkout apply to your purchase.
6. Payments
Stripe processes payments through its hosted checkout. TidySheet uses purchase email, payment status, and transaction identifiers to issue and manage licenses. Do not send card details to support. The successful checkout page and purchase email provide your license key.
7. Renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions renew at the monthly or annual interval selected in checkout unless canceled. Contact [email protected] from your purchase email to request cancellation before the next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the paid period unless the license is refunded or revoked. Uninstalling the app does not cancel billing. Contact support if a renewal or cancellation appears incorrect.
8. Refund policy
Use the 7-day trial to evaluate TidySheet before purchasing. TidySheet does not offer a guaranteed money-back period. To request a refund review for a billing error or product problem, email [email protected] from your purchase email with the purchase date and a description of the issue. Requests are reviewed individually; a request does not guarantee a refund. Approved refunds are returned through the payment provider to the original payment method and may revoke associated license access. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies under applicable law.
9. Acceptable use
Use TidySheet lawfully. Do not interfere with the website or licensing service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software, infringe others’ rights, or exceed license limits. Restrictions do not override rights to interoperability or other uses protected by applicable law.
10. Your files
You retain ownership of your files and output. Spreadsheet contents are processed locally and are not uploaded to the licensing service. Keep backups and review results before relying on them. TidySheet is a productivity tool and does not replace accounting, audit, tax, legal, or other professional review.
11. Updates and availability
We may release fixes and changes and update supported platforms. We do not promise uninterrupted service or automatic updates. Material changes affecting paid access will be communicated through the website or purchase email. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. Suspension and termination
Access may end when a subscription expires or be suspended for failed payment, refund, chargeback, misuse, or a security threat. Contact support to dispute an access restriction or correct an error. You may stop using the app at any time; cancel billing separately as described above.
13. Intellectual property
TidySheet software, branding, and documentation remain the property of their respective rights holders. Purchasing a license grants use rights, not ownership. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
14. Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, TidySheet is provided as available without a promise that every file or workflow will produce error-free results. We do not exclude warranties or remedies that applicable law requires. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and retaining original files.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of TidySheet, including lost profits or losses caused by failure to back up or review data. This does not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Disputes and applicable law
Contact [email protected] to seek resolution of a dispute. Applicable law determines the governing law and competent courts, including mandatory protections in your place of residence. These terms do not require arbitration or waive nonwaivable consumer rights.
17. Changes to these terms
The revision date appears on this page. Material changes affecting subscriptions will be communicated through the website or purchase email before taking effect where required by law. Changes do not remove rights already accrued.
